Rani has been dancing since the age of 2, making this her 31st year of dancing. Her dance career began at Connie Gardiner's School of Dance in Abbeville. There, she learned the basics of dance and started to explore conventions and competitive dance. She later moved to Listi-Haydell's Dance Studio, where she competed for the title of Petite Miss Dance of Dixie and continued to compete throughout her high school years. During high school, she was a member of the National Championship Sparklers dance team at STM. During college, she worked for the Universal Dance Association teaching dance camps around Louisiana and continued dancing and teaching at local studios. In 2001, she was asked to be a part of the Dance Connection Staff and has been a part of it for 12 years! She graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Besides being a dance instructor, Rani works as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a private clinic in Lafayette.
